Served lukewarm, made with syrup, not made with enough syrup, and what syrup there was wasn't even completely mixed. To begin with, I was very surprised that an establishment like Jack's made their hot chocolate with syrup and not genuine cocoa (especially for 6 soles!) I've heard so many wonderful things about Jack's, and this chocolate was a monumental disappointment. No care or attention was put into the drink, and it didn't even taste that good. Jack's reputation must come from their (overpriced!) food, but if their food is anything like their chocolate, then no thanks! I'd expect a hot chocolate like this for 2 soles, but for 6? Totally not worth it!
Mission: find decent chocolate in Portland. I think my work is cut out for me.
