Chocolate has a plastic taste to it, which lingers on the palate and into the aftertaste. Well-balanced with the milk, the addition of sugar changes the plastic taste to a walnut-like flavor. The sweetness diminishes the chocolate flavor though. I don't know what the plastic taste is all about, but the drink could really do without it!
